Allendale Christian Camp and Retreat Center has a purpose of reaching others for Christ. With over 2,100 campers each summer, we offer many exciting challenges including the Low Ropes course, Climbing Tower, pool with waterslides, "Leap of Faith" 4 person Zip Line, and many other great activities for groups of all sizes to enjoy! We also offer retreat facilities for groups, such as youth groups, business groups, and social groups, between the months of August and May.

6/11 Severe Weather Update: Once again it looks like it will be an active night for storms here in Central Indiana. We are aware that both Johnson County and Allendale are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch.

We will take all precautions necessary to keep all campers safe. This storm looks like it is still a ways away with the intense parts of the storms hitting the Indianapolis area or north of Indy. All camp activities are concluding for the evening and campers are headed to bed if they have not already.

06/09 weather update: at 9:11pm Allendale was placed under a severe thunderstorm WARNING. Treehouse campers are at the dining hall and are not back at the Treehouse campsite.

All other campers are headed to their dorms for the night. At the time of this post, It is NOT currently storming, but there is spectacular lightning and thunder.

As Midwesterners, we are no strangers to severe weather. If your camper is at Allendale during severe weather, you can check the camp’s page to stay informed about what's happening at camp and, most importantly, your camper.

**IF** the National Weather Service places Johnson County, or in a very extreme weather event, Allendale under a “watch” or “warning,” updates and any relevant information will be posted here to keep you informed quickly. Remember, just because you or your town/location are under a watch or warning, Allendale may not be receiving the same weather or under the same alerts.
