Who heard the loud blasts of trumpets coming from the playground tonight? Tonight, our kids learned all about the Feast of Trumpets! We explored the differences between the Gregorian calendar and the Biblical calendar, discussed the significance of trumpets throughout Scripture, and remembered some favorite Bible stories where trumpets played an important role. We passed around a real shofar and learned about its purpose before heading outside for some trumpet blowing of our own. Needless to say, the neighborhoods may have heard us celebrating too! 😂😬

We love helping kids experience God's Word in hands-on ways, and we can't wait to celebrate the Feast of Booths together in just a few weeks! 🍂⛺
