Doesn't that look delicious? We hope you will join us for pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs and all of the trimmings this Sunday at 8:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Donations will be accepted that will go towards sending the youth to Centrifuge in July.
A joint Sunday School class will be held at 9:00.
Bring your appetite (and your billfold). We look forward to seeing you Sunday.

Part of the fabulous Christmas activities this month. Come experience the Advent Journey today 11-2 and 5-8 pm and tomorrow and Thursday from 9-2. Also join us for the International Mission Study Wednesday at 6. There are classes for all ages.

Join us Sunday at 10:15 for the choir's musical presentation. After the service stay and enjoy a "Latte for Lottie" and a Christmas cookie or two. This is a fundraiser for the International Missions Offering.

Holidays, Holly Daze, or Holy Days?

If you’re like most people during the month of December you struggle to keep Christmas true to its essential meaning. It’s easy to get caught up in the retail trap of buying and spending “just because it’s Christmas.” A lot of us spend money we don’t have to buy gifts without giving any real thought at all if they’re needed or wanted. It seems as though the Christmas holiday season has become bigger than Christ child it was intended to celebrate. Wouldn’t you like a way to take a breather and slow down and find yourself, instead of getting lost in the holiday shuffle? Walker Baptist Church would like to give you that opportunity, by offering you an Advent Prayer Journey – a time of solitude and quiet reflection. We will be opening our sanctuary on December 18-21, from 9 am until 2 pm, for a self-paced prayer time. There will be 7 “stations” where you can read inspirational words and take something back with you into your daily life. Come. You’ll be glad you did. You’ll have a better Christmas.
