WOW! Wellness On Wheels (W.O.W.). Two graduates were celebrated today!

Each month, our volunteer nurses and health coaches invest their time and love to help our neighbors with heart health concerns to improve their health through their wisdom. They are provided our Green Zone groceries and we screen their BP & A1C to check their progress. After more than a year serving through this program, 100% of our participants have seen improvement in their heart health!

We look forward to many years to come and many more lives changed through this powerful program!

We’re honored to be part of the Texas Health Community Impact grant initiative in Tarrant County through our collaborative project: W.O.W. – Wellness on Wheels

This effort, made possible by Texas Health Community Hope, brings together incredible partners:
✅ Harvesting In Mansfield – HIM Food Bank

✅ Under The Bridge Fort Worth
Together, we’re on a mission to support adults living with high blood pressure and diabetes in the 76010, 76011, 76104, 76105, and 76119 ZIP codes by providing mobile health screenings and nutritional support, including healthy groceries designed to help manage blood pressure and improve overall well-being.

Want to make an even bigger impact this North Texas Giving Day? You can create your own campaign for Central Storehouse!

You don’t have to be a professional fundraiser; just share why Central Storehouse matters to you and invite the people you know to be part of it.

Creating your own Giving Day campaign is simple:

1. Create your page
Set up your personal fundraiser through Central Storehouse’s North Texas Giving Day page using the link below.

https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/organization/Central-Storehouse-Ministries

Then click fundraiser, create a account, add a photo and a few sentences about why you support Central Storehouse.

2. Set a goal
Choose a goal that feels achievable for you - $500, $1,000, $2,500, or whatever feels right.

3. Make a list
Think of 10–20 people you could personally invite to support your campaign - friends, family, coworkers, or others in your community.

4. Get ready
Early giving opens tomorrow, so you can begin sharing your campaign as soon as your page is ready! Your campaign can continue through North Texas Giving Day on September 17.

5. Share & say thank you!
Send your link, share your campaign on social media, celebrate your progress, and thank the people who join you.

That’s it! Your personal story and connection to Central Storehouse are what make your campaign meaningful. Every person you invite provides us with an opportunity to reach another neighbor.

Such a special day having Deborah Ferguson from NBC 5 out at Central Storehouse.

Deborah is such an important part of our community, and it was so great getting to hear her perspective, learn from her experience, and be part of the thoughtful questions and conversations she brought with her. I’m so grateful for the way she continues to use her platform to highlight the people and organizations making a difference across Fort Worth.

And a special shoutout to Benjamin Robertson for being there and spending part of the day with us. So grateful you joined us!

Grateful for days like today and for the people who continue to show up and care deeply about our community.

Our Back-to-School event, led by Tausha Wilson and her team at Why Not You, was incredible and we are so grateful to have been a partner on mission together. Now more than two weeks past, it is great to look back and remember all the blessings from that day. These are some amazing pictures taken by one of our wonderful volunteers. Thank you Terry for sharing your gifts with the community! More than 1,000 people were on campus that day. It was a true day for the community!

Update! This is Adriaan…he and his wife Cindy and kids Kayla and Wian were displaced from their home in South Africa and sent to the US. He has been settled in Arlington and most recently received housing for his family. By the grace of God and the generosity of people, there were able to furnish much of their new place. He just got a job!!!

He and his family are coming to Storehouse regularly to get help with food as they settle in.

They needED ONE more item…a couch for their living room. The Lord provided a beautiful set and a rug for their new home. Thank you to Scott & Genny Wilson and their son Ryan for their generous donation. It took less than 24 hours to help this family. What a blessing! Thank you to all involved!
