DWWAP History
In the year 2001, four strong Women of God, who happen to be good friends, were in high pursuit of God, living by God’s word, but wanted more of Him. They knew, whatever they asked in God’s name, by trusting and believing in Him with all their heart, mind and soul, it would come to pass.
The women would lead, guide, teach, enhance, empower, mentor women of all ages, and serve in communities where the less fortunate resided. They recognized their divine connection to God and their diverse gifts. The women conveyed the message of Christ’s love and character through fellowship, by Grace, emulating the Titus II and Proverbs 31 Woman, while showing the wisdom of Esther. Though the vision was delayed (Habakkuk 2:3), God answered.
After approximately 17 years, in 2016, God saw fit to bring the four core women, along with additional women, back together for a birthday celebration. This celebration ignited the desire to renew the fellowship and love of coming together to help other women in every area needed. As a result, Divine Women With A Purpose (DWWAP) was birthed. DWWAP has now been united for two years with a growing membership and desire to be of service to those they meet.
