Fractured Ground

What happens when tragedy strikes a community and you are called to preach into the middle of it?

Natural disasters. Community violence. Sudden, devastating loss. In those moments, pastors are often asked to find words when words are hard to find.

Fractured Ground: Preaching in the Wake of Mass Trauma is a two-part Zoom course designed to help clergy and other ministry leaders think faithfully and practically about preaching in the aftermath of traumatic events.

Saturday, October 17 & Saturday, October 24, 2026
8:30 a.m.–Noon
Via Zoom

Both sessions are required.

Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15 - October 15.

September 15-October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month. Below is a list of tips to celebrate Hispanic and Latino/a people and their diverse cultures in appropriate and honorable ways. Much of the list focuses on ways to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from a faith community and communal worship lens.
