Teen Challenge Southeast Region-Fort Myers, FL

Teen Challenge is the oldest, largest and most successful program of its kind in the world.

Established in 1958 by David Wilkerson, Teen Challenge has grown to more than 170 centers in the United States and 250 centers world-wide. Our center in Southwest Florida is a residential program with a minimum of 12 mo

nths commitment required of the student. During their stay here, they will experience (some for the first time in their lives) a strict schedule, personal structure, accountability to authority, individual mentoring relationships, and one-on-one counseling. They will also participate in Biblically-based Life Skills Training classes along with supervised work details which enable them to learn new patterns of thinking and behavior in personal relationships. Through the journey, they will come to learn to truly depend upon God, developing a personal relationship with Him, which is the only thing which can truly change one's heart. Chuck, we are incredibly grateful for your faithfulness, your dedication to this ministry, and the way you consistently pour into the lives of the men we serve. Your commitment to seeing lives changed goes far beyond simply doing a job. You lead by example, serve with humility, and continually point our students toward what it looks like to walk with purpose and integrity.

Thank you for the countless hours, conversations, prayers, and moments that often happen behind the scenes. Your investment is making an eternal difference in the lives of our students and their families.

Congratulations to our graduate, Anthony! 🎉 We’re so proud of him and excited that he’ll now be coming alongside Teen Challenge as an intern. What an incredible next step!

We also had such a powerful Family Day. One of the most meaningful things to witness is our students praying with their families and seeing relationships begin to heal and be restored.

This is what Teen Challenge is all about! God changing lives, restoring families, and giving people a new future filled with hope and purpose.

We’re so grateful for every student, family member, staff member, volunteer, and supporter who gets to be part of what God is doing here at Fort Myers Teen Challenge. ❤️

Our August All-Staff Monthly Focus Meeting was full of surprises, encouragement, and celebration! 🙌

Pastor David and Melissa were surprised by our students, interns, and staff with cards, handwritten letters of encouragement, and even one of Pastor David’s favorites… pickles! 🥒😂 It was a special chance for our Teen Challenge family to express how grateful we are for their leadership, investment, and love for this ministry.

We also had the privilege of recognizing Reggie Scott with our Core Value Award for Continuous Improvement! Reggie continues to be a tremendous blessing to our team and to the students he serves. His humility, teachable spirit, commitment to growth, and desire to seek the Lord are evident in the way he leads and serves others.

This month’s focus was all about “Building a One Another Culture” and this was a great reminder that healthy teams grow when we encourage, honor one another, and keep getting better together.

🇭🇳 Headed Home! ✈️

Our Honduras mission trip has officially come to an end, and we’re heading home with full hearts! God did some incredible things this week in us, through us, and in the lives of so many we had the privilege to serve.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, encouraged, and supported our team. Your prayers went with us every step of the way.

Please keep our team in prayer as we travel home today for safe flights, smooth connections, and safe travels as everyone departs.

Honduras, thank you for an unforgettable week. God is good! 🇭🇳❤️🙏

Our guys worked hard together yesterday serving Teen Challenge Honduras—restoring over 200 chairs, building a new bathroom, landscaping, and helping beautify the campus! 🇭🇳🙌

That evening, our student Hector stepped out in faith and shared a devotion on accountability; his first time ever!

We’re incredibly proud of him and grateful to see what God is doing in and through our team here in Honduras! 🙏🔥
