Why does God seem so angry in the Old Testament?

It’s a real question,nd one we don’t need to dodge. This last Sunday, we looked at difficult passages, severe laws, judgment, and the bigger story Scripture is telling.

We don’t find two different Gods in two different Testaments. We find one holy, loving God who refuses to make peace with the evil that destroys the people He loves, and who, through Jesus, is making all things new.

You can believe ABOUT something without truly BELIEVING in it. Real belief means you're all in, like trusting your life to a pilot or hanging upside down on a ride with just one metal tab between you and danger. That's the belief Jesus calls us to in John 3:16. Are you ready to stake your life on Him?

You can't earn your way into God's kingdom through performance or rule following. It's not about behavior management, it's about a supernatural transformation that comes from God's grace and the Holy Spirit working from the inside out.
All you have to do is respond to His invitation.
THAT'S the good news.
