After almost 40 years of ministry, Word of Life Lutheran Church of Fort Collins is suspending weekly services after January 21, 2024. Its small groups such as Primetimers will continue to meet and welcome newcomers. Meantime, the church’s synod headquarters, the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of Fergus Falls, MN, is exploring ways to continue ministering in northern Colorado. Here is the obituary for our dear friend Patty. The service will be at 1pm on Monday, June 5th. There will be a livestream of the service here on our page, but the service is being graciously hosted at SouthGate Church.

Patricia “Patty” Ann Lillestolen, age 59, left us too soon on Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was born on January 30, 1964, in Eastend, Saskatchewan to Orville and Shirley Wig. Patty and Erik Lillestolen were married on June 6, 1987, and enjoyed each other’s lives for over 35 years. Patty would ligh...
