Mock week for our staff has begun! Over the next week they will be practicing all the skills they have learned so far during staff training. They will be leading worship, living word, going on day hikes and so much more. Our staff can’t wait for campers, but in the meantime they are going to continue learning all the intricacies of camp!

We are so excited to introduce our 2026 summer staff! These incredible individuals have all been called and received to camp to make their impact this summer. Our summer theme HARMONIZE is based around being many and varied parts of ONE body (Romans 12 - working together for the common good and to share God’s song with the world.)

This month one of the most incredible examples of many gifts, one body was two separate work weekends that brought exciting renewal to the site in advance of our summer season.

Highlights of early May Weekend included Metal Roof installed on Camp Store, Lights, door handles and locks replaced in camper cabins for greater accessibility. And …. drumroll…..BPC Fireplace demo completed! 🔥

Highlights from our Memorial Work Weekend included new fencing around our garden beds, Beaver Flats platform area prep, full replacement of all the outdoor chapel benches, log clearing, set up of our camp store, picnic bench and table refurb in pavilion, replacing the doors on Tutu cabin and deep cleaning the BPC, the campground. the chuckwagon and Christ Lodge.

38 friends of the ministry of all ages came and joined our 17 staff on site for leadership and ropes training to start our summer season with energy, enthusiasm and worship of the God who calls us to this special place to serve and be reminded of our place in the song!

10 amazing summer staff got high ropes certified this week! During their two day training they learned how to safely facilitate both the ropes course and power pole. They can’t wait to facilitate campers experience on our amazing ropes course this summer.

Summer’s officially here! 🤣 ❄️🤪
Our leadership staff arrived over the weekend and we’re 2 days into all the prep, learning and building relationships to sustain and support the rest of our staff who begin arriving this coming weekend.

So grateful for these amazing young adults, faithful, gifted leaders who said YES to God’s call to return and to come from the furthest edges of the country to serve.

We’re giddy with anticipation for the summer ministry team that has been assembled.
We’re trusting God’s Spirit to use the summer theme “HARMONIZE” and our Living Word study, devotions and worship to facilitate an encounter with Jesus that will welcome, challenge and empower everyone who comes to the mountain this summer. ❤️🏕️❤️

And so we’re in a final push for registrations.

A beloved friend and partner in ministry, Pastor Paul Schairer has gone home to Jesus. ❤️ Well done, good and faithful servant.

Our prayers surround, Greg, (who served for years on Sky Ranch staff and was foundational in many programs that are the roots for current ministry) the entire Schairer family, all who knew and loved Paul, and those who were impacted by decades of faithful service to the church and the world.

The family invites you to a celebration of his life and legacy at Trinity Lutheran Church (301 E Stuart St Fort Collins) on Saturday May 2nd at 10:30am MST.
