🌍 Did You Know?
Every summer, thousands of international J1 students come to Cape Cod to live and work for the season. They're serving meals at local restaurants, checking guests into hotels, working in retail shops, helping with recreation programs, supporting local businesses, and even making your morning coffee at Dunkin'. In countless ways, they help keep our Cape communities thriving during the busy summer months.
One of the beautiful opportunities we have as a church is to welcome the world right here to our corner of Cape Cod.
We were blessed to host our annual J1 Cookout, sharing burgers, hot dogs, introducing students to s’mores, games, conversation, and most importantly, the love of Christ. We were grateful to spend the evening connecting with students from all over the world and helping them feel seen, welcomed, and at home.
Thank you to everyone who helped cook, serve, set up, clean up, and simply spend time getting to know these incredible students. We love being part of a community that opens its arms wide and reflects God's love in such practical ways.
As these students spend their summer serving our communities, we hope they'll experience something even greater—a warm welcome, genuine friendship, and the love of Jesus through His people.
❤️ Welcome to Cape Cod—we're so glad you're here.
