Thank you, Lord, for a beautiful day to gather together after worship. Thank you for the body of believers who cling to your Son for everlasting joy and share in that joy with one another here and now. Thank you for the promises in your Word that we so often need to be reminded of each week. ☀️

We began August gathered as one church family, with our children worshiping alongside us for Family Worship Sunday. As they listened through Psalm 12, the children added a star each time they heard the words “pure” and “power.” These words also pointed all of us toward the central truth of the passage: while people may use their words to deceive, wound, or gain power over others, God rises to protect the powerless. Unlike the unreliable words around us, the Lord’s words are pure, trustworthy, protective, and everlasting. Psalm 12 ultimately points us to Jesus, who endured slander and lies without deceit or retaliation and came to redeem both the ways we have been harmed by words and the ways we have sinned with our own. What a joy to begin a new month together—children and adults alike—learning to place our trust in God’s faithful Word.

What a sweet Lord's Day together ♥️

This Father's Day, we took time to celebrate and thank the fathers, grandfathers, and spiritual fathers among us who faithfully serve, lead, encourage, and point others to Christ. We are grateful for the many men God has used to shape our church family through their wisdom, love, and example.

We also continued our study through 1 Corinthians, considering what it means to have a wise conscience and how believers are called to navigate the complexities of life. Rather than simply blending into the culture around us, we are called to live in a way that glorifies God and makes Him known, remembering that our choices, actions, and presence are a testimony to a watching world.

As part of our service, we partnered with Solid Rock Ministries by providing Bibles for incarcerated fathers. Church members were invited to write personal notes of encouragement inside the front covers, reminding these men that they are seen, known, and loved by their Heavenly Father—a Father who never abandons His children and whose gospel is able to make all things new.

Thankful for another Sunday spent worshiping together and celebrating the hope we have in Christ.

This summer, join us for a 13-week journey through the foundational truths of the Christian faith. Using video teaching from renowned theologian R.C. Sproul and guided discussion led by one of our church elders, Joe Marcel, we'll explore essential doctrines including God's revelation, the authority of Scripture, the Trinity, God's attributes, and more.

The class will meet each Sunday morning at 9:00 AM in the church basement classroom before our worship service, beginning June 14th and continuing through September 6th.

Whether you're new to the faith, looking to deepen your understanding of theology, or simply wanting to grow alongside others, this course is designed to strengthen your confidence in what Christians believe and why.

Don't let summer schedules keep you away! While the course builds week to week, each session can also stand on its own. If vacations, family commitments, or other summer plans mean you'll miss a few weeks, we still encourage you to join us whenever you're able.

🌍 Did You Know?

Every summer, thousands of international J1 students come to Cape Cod to live and work for the season. They're serving meals at local restaurants, checking guests into hotels, working in retail shops, helping with recreation programs, supporting local businesses, and even making your morning coffee at Dunkin'. In countless ways, they help keep our Cape communities thriving during the busy summer months.

One of the beautiful opportunities we have as a church is to welcome the world right here to our corner of Cape Cod.

We were blessed to host our annual J1 Cookout, sharing burgers, hot dogs, introducing students to s’mores, games, conversation, and most importantly, the love of Christ. We were grateful to spend the evening connecting with students from all over the world and helping them feel seen, welcomed, and at home.

Thank you to everyone who helped cook, serve, set up, clean up, and simply spend time getting to know these incredible students. We love being part of a community that opens its arms wide and reflects God's love in such practical ways.

As these students spend their summer serving our communities, we hope they'll experience something even greater—a warm welcome, genuine friendship, and the love of Jesus through His people.

❤️ Welcome to Cape Cod—we're so glad you're here.
