Yesterday, we gathered to surround Anastasia with love as we honored the life and legacy of her mother, Brenda.

What a beautiful reminder that the bonds formed years ago can grow into a lifelong sisterhood. Through tears, memories, and laughter, we celebrated a life well lived and stood together for one of our own.

Thank You, Spirit Airlines !

My heart is heavy hearing that Spirit Airlines has taken its final flight. I’m especially thinking about all the employees and families impacted—
I’m lifting you up in prayer during this transition.
As I reflect, I can’t help but go back to where it all began for me… this badge right here.
In the late 90s, I was a young mom just trying to find my way when I answered an ad in the paper—and it opened a door I never saw coming. I started as a flight attendant out of Detroit, and when life got challenging, Spirit didn’t close the door… they made a way.

They supported me through motherhood—even allowing me to bring my daughter Grace Whipper to work for a season (they called her the “Spirit baby”).

That one “yes” turned into nearly 20 years in the airline industry.

So today, I just want to say thank you.
For the opportunity.
For the grace.
For the beginning.

You will always be a part of my story!
