Today was one of those sacred reminders of why we do what we do.

We had the joy of celebrating baptisms at CFC, and there truly wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Story after story, we witnessed the transforming power of the gospel on display. Each testimony was different, yet all pointed to the same beautiful reality: God, in His grace, rescues and saves sinners through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Baptism is the outward sign of that inward miracle—a public declaration of new life in Christ. It doesn’t save us, but it boldly proclaims that we have been united with Jesus in His death and raised to walk in newness of life. Every person who stepped into those waters today was declaring, “I belong to Him.”

CFC, this is what the Church is all about. A people redeemed by grace, gathered in worship, and sent on mission with the good news of Jesus. What we saw today wasn’t just emotional—it was eternal. Lives changed. Hearts made new. God glorified.

Let’s ask the Lord to use us this week. To give us boldness to share our story, to invite others in, and to be faithful with the gospel we’ve been entrusted with. There’s no telling what God might do.

This Sunday is not just another gathering—it is Baptism Sunday at CFC.

We are preparing to celebrate the undeniable power of the gospel as people publicly declare that Jesus has taken them from death to life. Every baptism is a testimony of grace, a visible picture of the saving work of Christ, and a reminder that God is still transforming lives today.

If you have been thinking about inviting a friend, family member, or coworker, this is the Sunday to do it. There is something uniquely powerful about seeing the gospel on display, not just preached, but lived out.

Join us at 9:00 or 10:45 AM as we celebrate new life in Christ together. Come expectant. Come ready to worship. Come ready to witness life change.

We cannot wait to see you—and who you bring with you.

Elevate Nights are never predictable. One week it’s wild games, the next it’s something even crazier… you never quite know what’s coming (and yes, sometimes that involves running, dodging, and a little chaos).

But what you can count on every single Tuesday is this: leaders who care deeply, a place where you belong, and a space where you’ll be pointed to Jesus. We open God’s Word, we worship together, we pray for each other, and we create room for students to discover a faith that’s real and personal.

We can’t believe there’s only ONE more Elevate Night this school year—and we’re going out strong.

II Corinthians 4:7-10 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. Today was a beautiful day across every gathering at CFC. We are deeply grateful for the ways God continues to move among us.

While we thank God for the gift of connecting online, there is something uniquely powerful about being together in the room—surrounded by His people, lifting our voices in praise. Hearing the laughter of children, seeing faces filled with joy, and sensing the presence of the Holy Spirit in every space as we lift up the name of Jesus—it is a gift we don’t take lightly.

What a grace it is to belong. To be part of a family. To be joined together as one body—the Body of Christ.
All glory to God for what He is doing in and through His Church.
