r History - Our story begins with the healing miracle of Elder Norman Morrison. He suffered from a serious stroke with doctors not giving much hope for his recovery. But we serve a miracle working God! Elder Morrison had a complete healing! During his recovery, the Lord spoke to Elder Morrison and placed a vision and desire in his heart to open a church in Harford County. Elder Morrison is the founder and builder of the original church, The Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. In 1958, Elder Morrison, his wife Nora, and Paul Clutter began to meet and pray twice a week for an outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Their prayers were answered, when in 1960, seven more people were baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. This was the beginning of a move of the Spirit that was confirmed with signs following, as in Mark 16:17. As the years passed, Rev. Charlie Stetler and Rev. Rex Pritt, both served as Pastors of our local church. God began to bring souls to the church as it pleased Him. Since that time, Elder Morrison, Rev. Charlie Stetler, and Rev. Rex Pritt have gone to be with the Lord. In May of 2012 Rev. Walter Donnelly, his wife Michele, and their ten children moved from Florida to become our Senior Pastors. Sister Michele Donnelly is the granddaughter of Elder Morrison and grew up here in our local church. She and Pastor Walter were married in our sanctuary. Since their arrival, the church family prayerfully chose to change the name of our local assembly to Strong Tower Church. We continue to honor our rich heritage in the Lord as we pursue His presence.
