The Girl Scouts assembled 25 period packs for Church World Service last night. Thanks to everyone who donated items and to Dollar General for the items we were able to use from our weekly donations.
We will be shipping these to CWS's warehouse in Pensylvania. If you would like to help with the shipping costs, or the requested donations for handling of $2 a pack, you can put it in the offering on Sunday or Mail a check labeled "CWS PACKS".
In the children's time in worship, we often talk about what love looks like. This may seem to be an odd way for love to look, but for women in need, it will show that their needs are known and they are seen. And that is everything that love is.

A group of girls from our Girl Scout troop is working with Pastor Linda to assemple Period Packs for Church World Service. These will provide needed items that are often not available from disaster relief organizations, food pantries, or shelters. Feminine products cannot be purchased with SNAP or other benefits, and many girls and women are forced to miss school and work due to lack of supplies. We are hoping to make 25 packs, and have many items from our Dollar General and other donations. The items we need are:
-2oz bottles of hand sanitizer
-bath size bars of soap (they ask that we acoid Ivory or Jergans)
-small packs of anti-bacterial hand wipes
-packs of flushable wipes (42 or fewer)

If you would be able to donate any of these items, we ask that you bring them to worship on Sunday.

Camp Fowler is currently seeking a Summer Camp Nurse (or Nurses) to serve during our 2026 summer camping season.

Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, the camp nurse who had planned to serve with us this summer is no longer able to do so. As a result, we are now seeking medical professionals to help care for our campers and staff this summer.

Dates of Service: June 25 – August 13/14, 2026

Per New York State Department of Health requirements, eligible individuals may include any of the following who are licensed in New York State:

• Physician (MD/DO)• Nurse Practitioner (NP)• Physician Assistant (PA)• Registered Nurse (RN)• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are open to one individual serving for the full summer or multiple individuals serving one or more weeks at a time.

This is a paid position and includes:

🏕 Separate housing accommodations from summer staff housing
💤 Friday evening through Sunday morning off duty
🍽 Meals provided while in residence
❤️ The opportunity to be part of a ministry that impacts the lives of children and youth each summer
