Topic: Angels and Their Roles Toward Us
Scripture: Hebrews 1:13-14; Acts 27:22

The main job of an angel is to be a messenger. They are ministering spirits with busy schedules. In scripture, there are numerous times where an angel brought someone a message from God. (Tonight's scripture in Acts involved an angel encouraging Paul during a storm.) Angels take our prayers up. They are also our battle fighters, foot soldiers for the Lord. While we respect their roles in our walk, they aren't to be worshipped and praised, as that honor belongs to the Holy Spirit. God has ownership over our battles while angels are our battle fighters. We have no business doubting when hardships come our because we have a host of angels fighting for us daily. If an angel is working on our behalf, we should take our hands off and rest in knowing that the battle is not only handled, but it's already won!
