Lord, on this Memorial Day, we remember with gratitude those who gave their lives in service to our country. We pray for the families who carry this loss, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them today.

Teach us to live with courage, humility, and thankfulness for the freedoms we often take for granted. May we be people who pursue peace, love our neighbors well, and not rest until all the people of this land share the benefits of true freedom. Amen.

Sunday we celebrated a special group of leaders as we honored our graduates and commissioned our new Youth Ministry interns, Shane and Riley, into their next season. Your church family is cheering you on as you step into new opportunities and continue walking in purpose. Whether you’re a caregiver, ministry leader, or simply want to learn how to care well for others, you’re invited to join the conversation with some of our caregiver leaders from Grace Anglican! Caregivers carry so much — and the Church has an opportunity to walk alongside them with compassion, support, and community.

May 18 - A panel of people leading Caregiver Support Groups.
Virtual Gathering @ 7 pm EST

Every church has caregivers in their congregation. If you would like to learn more about ways your church may be able to better support and minister well with them, you are invited to join us as we learn from these two groups.

Janie Simpson and Fr. B.E. and Beth Palmer lead a monthly, in-person caregiver support group at Grace Anglican, Fleming Island, Florida.

Through her own experience of caregiving, Mary Tutterow developed a study series The Heart of the Caregiver and began meeting virtually with other caregivers. She has been leading and planting groups for family caregivers for 15 years.
