This Saturday, the Our Lady of Walsingham ward of the Society of Mary (USA) will hold its monthly meeting. The Mass will be for the Feast of Our Lady of Walsingham (designated). At the conclusion of the Mass, all who desire to will be blessed with water from the well from the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in the England. The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. and consists of Mass, the praying of the rosary and bring your own lunch. All are welcome to attend!

Wednesday Mass for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross (designated) tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
After the Mass, from11:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm we will have the first session of our 2026-27 Bible study. We are studying the Epistle to the Hebrews this year. Coffee and tea provided during the study.

Sunday Mass for the Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity, tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. The Gospel lesson is St. Luke 17:11-19, the healing of the ten lepers. Coffee hour and fellowship after mass.
After the Mass on Sunday, September 13, we will begin our fall parish catechesis. The topic is The 1928 Book of Common Prayer as Magisterium.

"He who sings, prays twice." -St. Augustine of Hippo
Each Sunday, we sing traditional hymns and sacred music (Kyrie elision, Gloria in excelsis, Nicene Creed, Lord's Prayer, Agnus Dei) from the Hymnal 1940, not to be "old fashioned" but because it helps guard the "faith once for delivered unto the saints." (Jude v. 3) If you desire to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, come join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Our Wednesday 10:30 a.m. Mass this week will be for the feast of St. Augustine of Hippo (transferred). We begin our 2026-27 Wednesday Bible study session on September 9. We will meet from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. to study the Epistle to the Hebrews.

Mass for The Thirteenth Sunday after Trinity this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Beutell's sermon will be from the Gospel Lesson, St. Luke 10:23-37, Jesus' parable to The Good Samaritan. "...all things are ready: come unto the marriage (feast)." -St. Matthew 22:4.
Coffee hour and fellowship after the Mass.

At Sunday Mass tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. we will celebrate the Feast of St. Bartholomew the Apostle (transferred). In paintings and statuary, Bartholomew is often depicted holding a "skin suit" because Holy Tradition teaches he was martyred in southeastern Turkey by being flayed alive and then crucified upside down.
You are invited to "Come and see" (St. John 1:43-46) our Lord Jesus Christ worshipped and His holy Saint honored in the Mass.
Coffee hour with fellowship immediately after the mass.

Images, Icons and Statuary have been utilized by the Church for centuries to testify to the Incarnation of Christ and to teach the faith. The Seventh Ecumenical Council, Nicea II (AD 787) defines and defends the use of depictions of Christ in his humanity and evangelical scenes in religious art. This is the Catholic and Apostolic Faith once for all delivered unto the saints.

At our Wednesday 10:30 a.m. we will observe the Feast of St. Helena, mother of Constantine the Great, Emperor of Rome. We have completed our series of Table Talks for the season and will begin our study of the Epistle to the Hebrews on September 9.

Sunday Mass for the Eleventh Sunday after Trinity tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. The Epistle Lesson is 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 and the Gospel Lesson is St. Luke 18:9-14, Jesus' parable of the Pharisee and the Publican.
