We are so grateful to the Society of St. Andrew for reaching out to us last week and blessing our pantry with 50 bags of locally picked apples from nearby orchards!

Andria, pictured here, delivered this wonderful donation, and we are so thankful for the fresh fruit that was shared last week with our pantry families.

Thank you for helping us provide fresh, nutritious food to our neighbors!

One of the ways we see God at work in our pantry is through the incredible volunteers He continues to provide.

We often hear from other food pantries about how difficult it can be to find enough volunteers. They are amazed when they hear that more than 70 volunteers faithfully serve at our pantry on Wednesdays alone!

We know that number isn’t simply a coincidence. We see God working through the generous and willing hearts of people in our church and community—people who give their time, energy, and talents to serve our neighbors.

God is providing the people we need, exactly when we need them.

We are truly blessed by every volunteer who says, “Yes, I’ll help.”

Each week, a group of Hamilton County Master Gardeners faithfully delivers fresh-picked produce from their garden at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church to Come To Me Food Pantry.

Teresa is pictured here with one recent week’s beautiful bounty!

What makes this gift even more special is the care behind it. Many of the gardeners recently came by for a tour of the pantry to see firsthand how their garden’s harvest is helping our neighbors in need.

We are so grateful for this faithful partnership and for the gardeners who remind us that even a small seed can grow into something that blesses many.

Sometimes, we see God at work in the most unexpected places.

Recently, one of our food pantry guests mentioned to their advocate that they help run a community garden that often has surplus produce.

The guest didn’t want that extra produce to go to waste. Instead, they asked how they could donate it to the food pantry so it could be shared with other families in need.

Think about that for a moment.

Someone who came to the pantry because they needed help was looking for a way to help someone else.

That is God at work.

It’s a beautiful reminder that we all have something to give. Sometimes it’s food. Sometimes it’s time. Sometimes it’s a listening ear. Sometimes it’s simply the desire to make someone else’s day a little easier.

God has a way of connecting people, creating opportunities, and multiplying what we have to share.

We are grateful for this guest and for the reminder that even in seasons when we are receiving help, God can still use us to be a blessing to someone else.

God is at work—in our pantry, in our community, and through the people who walk through our doors.
