“I can’t change what I did, but I can change what I do next.“
Join us this Friday as Rodney Holmstrom talks about what it means to make amends, step out of hiding, and move forward in the freedom Jesus offers.

Amends reminds us that our past doesn’t have to keep us stuck in shame. As we bring our mistakes to the light, take responsibility, and make things right where we can, we begin to experience the freedom of Gods grace.

Surrender is one of the hardest steps to take until you do it. As we walk away from what is hurting us and toward the healing God provides it becomes easier to trust him with our hearts.
Yesterday on the podcast, Andy spent some time talking about how surrender is necessary as we aim for victory over the things weighing down our lives.

Father, we lift up our CR college students to You as they return to campus and begin classes today.
Go before them and surround them with Your protection. Guard their minds, hearts, bodies, friendships, and decisions. Give them strength for every challenge, wisdom for every choice, and peace in the places where they may feel overwhelmed, lonely, or uncertain.

Jesus, may our students live and love out of the overflow of who You are in them, not striving to be enough on their own, but abiding deeply in You. Let Your love, joy, courage, patience, and compassion flow naturally from their relationship with You.

Give them a deep hunger to pursue Christ above everything else. As they encounter hurting believers, students who feel alone, and those who do not yet know You, give them courage and strength to invite others into this space and family. Help them remember that Your Church is a body, and that there is room at the table for those who are searching, struggling, questioning, or simply needing to belong.

Make our students bold without being forceful, compassionate without compromise, and courageous enough to step toward people others may overlook. Let CR become a place where students experience the love of Christ through His people.

Use them to bring light, hope, healing, and truth to their campuses. May their lives point people back to Jesus, and may everything they do flow from knowing and being deeply loved by Him.
We entrust them to You today, Lord. Protect them. Strengthen them. Fill them. And use them for Your glory.
In Jesus name, Amen.
