UPDATE: Weather Advisory for Sunday, January 25, 2026

Due to the ongoing weather advisory that is expected over the next 48-hours and primary concern for everyone's safety, True Light is canceling tomorrow's church activities (Bible Study and Worship Service). Additionally, the church office will be closed, Monday, January 26th due to the lingering icy road conditions.

However, we offer the following recommendations for you and your family during this downtime due to the weather and beyond:

1) Sing a few praise and worship songs together as a family
2) Pray together as a family:
- Create a list of relatives, neighbors, classmates and coworkers and that you want to see accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. And then pray for them. This fulfills your participation in our church wide campaign, Who's Your One, in order to see more souls come to Jesus.
- Pray for your church pastor, church leaders and church family and all believers in Jesus to live holy lives that are pleasing to God.
- Catch up and/or be more intentional in reading and studying your Bible. Remember TLC's book of the month is Genesis.

Last, listen to the local weather forecast and take the necessary actions to be safe.

Public Service Announcement: Weather Advisory for Sunday, January 25th

A winter weather system is expected to move through our area this weekend, and current forecasts indicate the possibility of icy rain and snow on Sunday morning, January 25th. Because the safety of our congregation and community is our highest priority, this weather event may lead to the cancellation of Sunday church services.

Our leadership team is closely monitoring the forecast.
An official update will be issued by Saturday, January 24th, once we have clearer information about the certainty of the weather event, road conditions and overall safety.
