Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allāh bestow His mercy upon him, said in his Nūniyyah:

‏*العلمُ معرفةُ الهدى بدليلهِ، ما ذاك والتقليدُ يستويانِ.*

*قال ابن سعدي -رحمه الله-:

*"هذا بيت نفيس، ينبغي أن يحفظه كل طالب علم"*

[تعليقاته على النونية (ص ٢٢٤)]

*”Knowledge is to know the guidance together with its proof; That and blind imitation are not the same.”*

Ibn al-Saʿdī, may Allāh bestow His mercy upon him, commented:

*”This is a precious verse. Every student of knowledge should memorize it.”*

[Taʿlīqātuhu ʿalā al-Nūniyyah (p. 224)]

“Important components—”

Let’s try as much as we can to implement the ff :

- Siyām (Fasting Sincerely).
- Qiyām (Standing for Night Vigil).
- Adhkār (Morning & Evening)⁠.
- Qur’an (As a daily routine).
- Du’as ( Actively asking ALLĀH)⁠⁠.
- Sadaqa (Charity/Generosity).
- ⁠It’āam ( Feeding to the best).

Let’s hold on to these Ramadanic components with diligence🌹

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"Nothing is dearer to ALLAH - almighty- than two drops and two marks: A drop of tears shed out of fear of Allah and a drop of blood shed in Allah's way. Regarding the two marks, they are: Marks left in the Cause of Allah and a mark left in observing one of the obligatory act of worship of Allah, the Exalted".

قال العلاّمة صالح الفوزان حفظه الله

العبادة التي شرعها الله تنبني على أصول وأُسس تتلخّص فيما يلي:

١_ أنّها توقيفيّة بمعنى لا مجال للرّأي فيها، بل لا بد أن يكون المشرّع لها هو الله.

٢_ أن تكون خالصة لله من شوائب الشّرك.

٣_ أن يكون القدوة في العبادة والمُبَيّن لها رسول الله ﷺ.

٤_ أنّ العبادة محدّدة بمواقيت ومقادير لا يجوز تعدّيها وتجاوزها.

٥_ أن تكون العبادة قائمة على محبّة الله والذّل له وخوفه ورجائه.

٦_ أنّ العبادة لا تسقط عن المكلّف من بلوغه عاقلاً إلى وفاته.
