Lots of young people feel curious about the Bible while also feeling uneasy about the ways it gets used in culture and politics. So this summer, GSLC is trying an experiment: a “Religionless Bible Study” for teens.
Meeting Wednesdays from 6:00–7:30 p.m. beginning June 10th at Good Shepherd, the group will approach the Bible as a text worth understanding because it shapes literature, music, movies, language, history, and public life—and because it helps to know how to respond when scripture gets used (or misused) around or against you.
Curious, skeptical, religious, nonreligious, questioning, or somewhere in-between, your teen and their friends are invited.
❌ Not welcome: using the Bible study as a space to condemn LGBTQ people or debate their dignity and belonging.
