At New Heights, we focus on fostering safe, spiritually significant relationships between children and adults. We also focus on teaching the Bible with a special emphasis on the message about Jesus. Finally, we encourage children to connect with Jesus by applying their faith through prayer, worship, and service. Our mission is to introduce and instill a love of Christ and His word into the hearts
of young children as we partner with families. Early Childhood Staff and volunteer-leaders experience personally and express outwardly the authentic love of children that Jesus demonstrates to others in the Bible. From play, learning God's Love Story to us (the Bible), singing, or rocking babies, Jesus Junction kids experience for the first time what it is like to be part of the community and Body of Christ. For Sunday morning services, kids are divided into rooms based on their age/development:
Nursery: 0-walking
Toddlers
2-year-olds
3-year-olds
Kids On Safari (4 & 5 year olds)
ROUTE K-3 is where kids in Kindergarten through 3rd grade come to get rooted in biblical knowledge. Our mission is to help kids build a life-long relationship with God as we partner with families to do so. We teach how God has rooted His redemptive plan throughout time: starting in Genesis, through Revelation, and beyond. We want kids to understand that they not only play a part in God’s story, but are also a part of a much larger community of the Body of Christ! Fourfivesix is New Height’s ministry to 4th, 5th & 6th graders. On Sunday Mornings preteens have opportunities to form significant relationships with peers and leaders through small groups. They experience a HIGH ENERGY large group time with crazy games, live worship, and teaching relevant to their life stage. Preteens also have several connection points outside Sunday morning during the semester.
1-2-1 is a ministry serving families who need a little extra support. We desire to give EVERY child and EVERY family the opportunity to join the faith family of New Heights Church. The 1-2-1 ministry partners with families affected by disability providing the support needed for all members of the family to be able to worship and enjoy community. Our committed and trained buddies pair “1-2-1” with children who need extra support during our Sunday morning program. Regardless of a child’s needs we desire them to be included with their peers as they worship and learn together.
