Good Morning, this is Good Friday. What makes this Friday Good?

We were born into sin. The penalty for sin is death.

This is spiritual separation from God in this life.

This is eternal damnation

We deserved death but recieved mercy instead.

Jesus The Christ took our place. He suffered and was crucified for our sin.

His death satisfied the justice of God once and for all.

His death brought eternal life to all that put their trust in Him.

Through trusting in Christ you are...

Forgiven
Made right with God
Have access to His manifest presence
His Spirit lives in you
His Spirit guides you
His Spirit changes you
His Spirit teaches you
His Spirit empowers you

His Spirit raised you from spiritual death to spiritual life.

None of this is possible without the resurrection

Christ rising from the dead secures this gift of grace of God in your life.
