God does not call the qualified — He qualifies the called. This Sunday's message reminded us that every person God has used throughout Scripture was flawed, broken, or outright opposed to Him. Moses felt inadequate. Rahab had a past. Peter denied Christ. David failed miserably. Paul was a violent enemy of the faith. And yet God used every single one of them.

Your past does not disqualify you. Your failures do not disqualify you. Even your doubts do not disqualify you. As 2 Corinthians 3:5 reminds us, our adequacy comes from God alone — not from our own strength, wisdom, or nobility.

If you have been sitting on the sidelines thinking God cannot use someone like you, this message is for you. Step out in faith. God has never been unfaithful to those who do.

Celebration of Life for Don Corley

This past Sunday was Mission Sunday at Day3Church, and it was powerful. We heard from Nathan, a missionary to Japan — the second most unreached people group in the world — and from Traverse and Dustin, who served in Kenya this past summer building homes for widows, feeding children, and sharing the hope of Jesus.

The message was clear: the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9). Whether it is Japan, Kenya, or your own community, God is calling people to go — and when He calls, everything needed will be provided.

Traverse left us with a challenge worth sitting with: "What pedestal are you on in your life, and who are you willing to go down to earth for and serve?" That question mirrors the very heart of Jesus, who left His throne and gave everything for us.

If God is calling you to something greater, say yes. The other side is worth it.
