At the last children's and student ministry event, we spoke about life's obstacles and the necessity of the Word of God as a lamp unto our feet in a dark world, keeping our eyes set on Jesus as the source and perfecter of our faith through every obstacle.

If you know someone who is looking for a children's or student ministry saturated with the Word of God in everything they do, visit us on Wednesday @ 6:00 pm, Sunday @ 9:30 am or 5:00 pm.

Main Street Baptist Church values the Word of God!

What do we believe about Scripture?
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

Yesterday, students gathered at the flagpole in front of Farmington High School as they arrived for school. They came together to pray for their peers and share encouraging messages about standing up for their faith. Inspired by Esther, who loved her people enough to risk everything for their well-being, the students were not ashamed to express the salvation they have in Christ.

The Lord is doing big things with Farmington FCA this year!

Esther 7:2b-6
“What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request? Even to half of the kingdom it shall be done.” Then Queen Esther replied, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me as my petition, and my people as my request; for we have been sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be killed and to be annihilated. Pray for the students at Farmington High School as the year starts, and for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Trail shared a message from Judges 6 on Gideon, calling his fellow students not to be afraid and to put away what would keep them from fulfilling this year's mission for FCA Farmington: students reaching students with the Gospel.

Praise the Lord for His work among these students. All for His glory.
