Living Waters is a congregation of the ELCA located in southwest Fargo. We are a young, laidback congregation where you can come as you are.

Lots of people of all ages, and lots and lots of kids! We worship on Sunday mornings at 10am and Wednesdays at 6pm in-person (and online here on our page!). Our worship is led by our worship band, and you will hear songs that are played on contemporary Christian radio. We preach and teach using Sermon Series to apply God's Word to our everyday lives. YOU are welcome here!

What's the mask you wear? The one you put on to impress others that you have your life together. The one you put on to show people that you've made it. The one you put on so others don't look too closely and see the mess underneath. Sometimes people wear this mask so much that they start to confuse it for who they really are. What if there's another way to live life? An authentic one where you're truly seen and accepted. One where God's love covers us more than any mask we wear.
Reflection Question: What's the mask you wear most of all in life?

Don't forget - Overflow Sunday tomorrow means kids wear costumes, get candy, win prizes, and make an impact on the community! Invite your friends and complete a connection card and we'll donate a meal on your behalf to an individual in need!

Kiddos - expect to have your Halloween stash grow this Sunday during our November Overflow Sunday service! Wear your costume to church to get candy and compete in a costume contest after worship to win prizes!
Reminder - for every connection card filled out during these special overflow days, Living Waters will donate a meal to an individual in the area so invite your friends and make sure to complete a connection card to make an impact!

Scripture: Luke 10:1-12; 17-20
As we celebrate Reformation Sunday, we focus on one of the most challenging, radical teachings of Jesus—that God relies on US of all people. Do you have something in your past that you feel disqualifies you from God's calling? Do you feel like you don't know your Bible well enough as a Christian? Then you're in good company. In God's vital mission through His Son, He sends out 70 followers AHEAD of Him in pairs to nearby towns and places. These unnamed nobodies come back rejoicing that God's power as worked through THEM. What if it's the same way with US?
Reflection Question: What is making you feel unqualified for God's love and mission today?

Tomorrow! Stop by the church starting at 9am to help us cleanup indoor & outdoor areas, getting us ready for winter and starting to allocate spaces for small groups! Can't make it but still want to help? We're looking for donated items to help furnish the spaces so drop off side tables, chairs, rugs, lamps, or anything else you no longer need and we'll happily make a home for it!😊

The central belief of what makes us Christian is the most radical, controversial one of all: because of Jesus, death isn't final. That there is something more. And we hear this promise directly from Jesus Himself. There are only three responses to this. C.S. Lewis said it best, "Either he is a liar, a madman, or he is the Messiah." IF we dare to believe that Jesus is the Messiah that conquered death, that literally changes everything we hold dear and believe. And frees us in this world and the next.
