Understanding the true nature of God brings us closer to Him relationally. He truly loves us, not because we can give Him something but because He is love. Love is His nature and from that flows all His other attributes.

How do you see God? Is there a place you need to work on your own understanding of God in order to have the correct perspective? By having the correct perspective you can tear down a barrier that's hindered your relationship with Him.

I heard this quote from Bryce Crawford the other day - so simple, yet it brought tears to my eyes, so I wrote it on this little sticky note so I wouldn’t forget. The world and even those who are love us best will always let us down. But sometimes that’s a gift, so we can encounter the One who never will.

I pray that today you’re reminded of the height and depth of Jesus love for you. That if you are feeling weak, you’d be reminded He is strong. If you’re lacking faith, that you’d be reminded of the One who is faithful.

One of the things we’re so passionate for you to know is that God truly sees you and is ready to meet you right where you are. And not just sometimes! He is Immanuel, God WITH us.
