Registration for the Miracle of Innocence Gala closes soon!

Old Mission member, Darryl Burton, is the co-founder of Miracle of Innocence, which helps free the innocent and provides comprehensive care for when they come home. We invite you to support Darryl and his organization by attending their gala on September 26. (Be sure to note Old Mission on the registration form.)

Thursday Table has programming for children, students and adults around a central theme. Our fall theme is "Hold my Hand" and will stretch across all ages making space for good conversation no matter which group you're a part of. We start off with a provided, pay what you can meal and split off into groups from there. See all the offerings at oldmission.org/events.

Old Mission UMC is proud to be a founding member of the Good Faith Network, a coalition of 30+ faith communities across Johnson County working together for meaningful change.

This fall, GFN begins its sixth annual listening process, expected to engage nearly 1,000 Johnson Countians. OMUMC will hold three opportunities to discuss the question: “What keeps you up at night?” What we hear from you will help shape the issue GFN takes on next.

Pat Hotze, Gay Ecton, and Dr. Jonathan Foster will host - all sessions are at Old Mission. There is no commitment required - just come as you are, join the conversation, and add your voice.

Thursday Table registration is now open!

Thursday Table is a small group ministry that will happen 2 times a year with programming for children, students, and adults. Our fall theme is “Hold My Hand” and runs for 4 weeks. Whether you’re already connected with space for more or you’re new to Old Mission this is for you! Register at oldmission.org/events.

We'll all begin at 5:30pm with a meal and then split off from there. Group Offerings include:
Couples Collective - a group for couples led by Pastor Hyemi

Book Study - Woven: Nurturing a Faith Your Kid Doesn’t Have to Heal From by Meredith Miller, let by Pastor Emilyjane

Creative Prayer - Reignite the joy of prayer with Pastor Nancy

Theological conversations on “Amipotence” - love power vs. the power of love, led by Dr. Jonathan

Youth: Board Games and Belonging

Children 5 through 5th grade will do hands on activities and play with Miss Madison and Ms. Michele.

Nursery available for our youngest kiddos, 4 and under.
