We believe that Messiah Lutheran Church is an outpost of God's ongoing mission in Jesus Christ to rescue and save the world for himself. Through the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the hearing of the Gospel, we are here to draw people into the life of Christ, to build them up in the word of Christ, and to send them into the world as agents of God's promise in Christ for all people. To this end we aim to keep our church anchored in the Gospel, committed to excellence, and known for its first-rate educational and outreach ministries. We pray that God will continue to shape us as an attractive, vibrant, and energetic Lutheran congregation that church-seekers are eager to explore, members are glad to recommend, and the wider community is moved to thank God for.

On Sunday, September 20 during the 9:00 am & 11:00 am worship service, we will recognize the couples who are celebrating 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65+ wedding anniversaries. Letters were sent to those couples with these anniversaries. If we missed you, please let the Church Office know, so that we can celebrate with you. All members are welcome to a reception at 10:00 am between the services to recognize these milestone dates! 💍🥂

We are excited to welcome our little Trailblazers to Messiah for an amazing year! Our Preschool and Pre-K students started their very first day today. Their teachers were ready to welcome them in and even Pastor Seth stopped by to great the little ones for an extra special first day! 🎒🍎

Since this time last year, we have laundered over 63 THOUSAND pounds of clothing and bedding for people in need for $11,000.That’s over 324 THOUSAND pounds (162 TONS) since 2017. We will be at the Wash House today between 6-8pm sharing God's love and dignity through clean laundry

The Picnic is THIS Sunday – Final Volunteer Call!
It’s almost here! Our church picnic is happening this Sunday, August 30 immediately following the 10:00AM outdoor service. We're excited to share food, fun, and friendship with everyone. The church will be providing hot dogs, brats, and hamburgers, along with water and lemonade. To ensure we a wide spread of contributions, we ask those with last names A – P to bring a side dish and those with last names Q – Z to bring a dessert.🌭

We could always use more volunteers.—especially for clean-up, food service, and
kids’ activities. Please sign up with the church office.
We’ll see you at the picnic!

Jesus loves you and so do we! It's the first full week back to school. We had a great start last Thursday. Families were excited to start the year and the teachers welcomed them back with open arms. We had our first chapel of the year and were blessed to have the children's voices fill our worship space once again! We blessed backpacks and commissioned our teachers in a beautiful service on Sunday. We pray that all of our Messiah families have a blessed school year!🍎✏📚
