Fr. Pablo DeSanto will be with us at Masses this weekend. He sends us this letter:
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the Lord.
My name is Fr. Pablo De Santo, a priest from Argentina and a missionary of the Institute of the Incarnate Word (IVE). For the past 24 years, since my priestly ordination, I have had the grace to serve as a missionary in the Middle East.
Over the years, my mission has taken me to various places, including the Holy Land, where I learned the Arabic language and served in communities such as Jordan and the Gaza Strip. Later, I was assigned to Egypt, where I have been involved in various pastoral and charitable works.
Currently, I serve as the Provincial Superior of the Institute in the Middle East, which encompasses Egypt, Iraq and Lebanon. Among the missions entrusted to me, I am blessed to oversee the “Our Lady of Guadalupe” Home, a work of mercy dedicated to caring for 15 children with disabilities or special needs.
In this apostolate, we strive to provide for their material, physical, and spiritual needs, ensuring that each child receives the love and dignity they deserve as beloved children of God. In addition, our priests assist in various local parishes and religious communities throughout the region.
I am deeply grateful for your prayers for this mission and for all those who serve in these lands that once welcomed our Lord.
With my blessing,
Fr. Pablo De Santo, IVE
