Father Dobbs, Father Tim, and 6 of our servers led a Eucharistic Procession from the church to the school today. It was so beautiful-very powerful! Father and Father celebrated a Mass of the Holy Spirit with us. We prayed that the Holy Spirit fills our building this year as we begin school.

How lucky we are to have such devoted priests at St. John Vianney who want to bring Jesus to our kids!!!

Tomorrow is the first school Mass of the year. All families are invited to Mass each Wednesday beginning at 8:40 am. It is especially important to be there when your child's class is helping with the Mass parts. This is a big deal for them!

We will be learning about all the parts of the Mass throughout the month-meanings of things we do and what we believe. It's going to be beautiful!

Students need to remember to dress up for Mass-we are going to see Jesus in the Eucharist! Put a little more time into getting ready for this special part of each Wednesday. Save shorts and athletic wear for the other days of the week.

VIRTUS is a Safe Environment program that is required for all volunteers who work closely with our children. It takes less than two hours to complete and you can do it in the comfort of your own home.

It is easiest to get this completed right away! We don't want a fun opportunity to come up and you can't attend because you haven't done the training!
