Parking at the Church on June 28th

On June 28th, parking will be limited on William Street because the town is holding the Pride Festival. As a result, parking will only be allowed on the church side (west side) of William from Washington to Union Streets. Barricades will be in place on William; if you tell the volunteers that you are going to the First Congregational Church, they will let you through. If you are more able-boded than some, please leave the spaces near the door available for those that might need them.

On this day we call Good Friday, some words to ponder.

Our sanctuary is open for private prayer and meditation today from noon until 3 PM

Please know that what ever grief you might be carrying, you are not alone - God always walks with you - and you are held in prayer by our congregation.

The One who calls us to this day is the One who was—and is—acquainted with grief. The One who let his heart be broken, by his friends and by this world. The One of Sorrows, who surely carries ours.
