HELP NEEDED!

Family and friends, we have a big project coming up at Christhaven Church, and we’d love for you to consider being a part of it.

September 18–25, Crossroads Church, Lillington, NC is sending a team of skilled workers to help us repair and re-roof the back portion of the church. The existing rubber roof has reached the end of its life and simply cannot hold on much longer. This is an important project as we continue preparing this building to be a dry, safe, and lasting place for ministry in Fairhaven.

How can you help?

1. Pray. Pray for God’s provision, good weather, wisdom, and safety for everyone coming to serve.

2. Come help. If you have roofing, carpentry, construction, or related experience and would like to serve alongside the team, we would love to hear from you.

3. Give toward the project. Maybe you can’t come physically, but you’d like to help cover the cost of materials and help provide a dry, secure place where ministry can happen for years to come. Every gift helps.

We’re incredibly thankful for Crossroads Church and their willingness to come serve, and we’re trusting the Lord to provide everything needed to get this project completed.

What if $50 a month could help plant a church?

Don and Linda Wiegand have said yes to helping establish a new gospel-centered church in Fairhaven, Massachusetts—a community where we are praying to see lives changed, families strengthened, and a church established for generations to come.

But church planting takes more than a calling. It takes a team of people willing to stand behind those who go.

Right now, Don and Linda are only at 40% of their monthly funding goal. They need partners who believe in the mission and are willing to say:

“We’ll help send you.”

For many of us, $50 a month may not feel significant.

But to a church planter, it can make a world of difference.

Twenty people giving $50 a month = $1,000 every month helping Don and Linda stay focused on the work God has called them to do.

And perhaps the greatest thing about monthly support is knowing that you are not doing this alone.

Mission team 4/ week 4 in now in the books! Grace Hill Church - Pittsboro, NC came to help us put in a new set of stairs and rip out the old dangerous ones! What a blessing. Not only did they accomplish this but they help to tear out the old furnace that weight nearly 2800 lbs. Tecovas Cowboy (Josh Murdock) and his crew wasn’t going to let a little metal stump them! Thank you Grace Hill mission team.

Mission team number 3 in the books. Thank you Pinecrest Baptist Church, Portsmouth VA for your partnership in the gospel! All the old pipe and heating system is removed and made way for a new one because of the hard work of this team!

Mission team 2 and week 2 in the books! Thank you to Crossroads Church, Lillington, NC and their students for coming out and helping us do a bunch of work. What a special group of young men and women. My heart was encouraged by their love for Jesus this week.
