As we officially kick off this Summer Season, let us pray God will send a great harvest. We are striving (once again) to reach out to our community's children offering them hope in Christ Jesus. Many of these children will never hear of the Goodness of God in Christ Jesus unless we put forth this effort every year. As a grateful recipient of the Grace of God during my childhood, I want to extend that same gift to other children. Imagine having the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart as a child. The Bibles says, "Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." (James 5:20) The earlier we reach a person with Christ, the more their lives will be filled with God's Goodness.

What a refreshing time we had spending time with our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. These are important times and we wouldn't miss them for the world; but to hear and see of the faithfulness of God's church during our absence is especially refreshing.
Thank you for allowing us to go see our family, and step away briefly for this refreshment. And with this refreshing, we are encouraged of what the Lord will do in the future. We look forward to seeing souls saved, lives changed and families restored. We look forward to the growth of our church family and the spiritual steps we can take together. May God bless each of you and us as a church family. "The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." (Romans 16:24)

There are many things for which a pastor is thankful: and more than any earthly thing is to find a church so very faithful to God's Work and calling in their lives.
There is no higher honor than to find such faithful friends and co-laborers in the work of Christ. If I may borrow the Words of God from the hand of the Apostle Paul, "Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved." If I have taken unjustly from the Holy Bible, I leave that in God's Hand, but Carla and I are so very thankful for Berean Baptist Church and the ministry of Christ in the Fairfield community. Each and every day we are allowed to live on this earth we are given the opportunity to serve the Lord with all our hearts, minds, strength and soul. In fact, this is the purpose for living on this earth. And we are able to do this everywhere we go in whatever we are doing. I have known men and women that have carried this purpose in their dying days and all people at their bedsides have been blessed of God to hear their final words. I have known men and women present Christ in their work ethic and with their voice on the job. What would that be like to be talking about the Lord Jesus Christ and then suddenly be in His presence? That's the objective presented to every person who lives. God bless you in this endeavor.
