Antioch Methodist Church, Fairburn, GA

Antioch Methodist Church, Fairburn, GA Methodist Church Antioch is a multicultural congregation located in Fairburn, GA. The windows were found in early the 1900's but date to pre civil war.

Our humble beginning started in 1834 with a small group of men and women gathering in various homes for worship. Later, land was purchased from surrounding land owners in the years 1879, 1888 and 1895, totaling seven acres. The building, in which we now worship, was built to withstand years of service; and today, it is still a solid structure. Windows in the church were salvaged from Trinity Metho

dist Church in downtown Atlanta when it relocated across from the capitol. It is a miracle that they survived the burning of Atlanta. They were brought via horse cart and installed. We have a Special Needs group That meets for fun activities! They are our Happy Hearts! They help us in our weekly worship and make our days shine brightly! We have members in the Historical societies and cemetery committee so if you have any questions about the area we are here to help! We are partners with the Chattahoochee Hills Community. All of our charitable giving helps the people in our community directly as well as general up keep of the church. We Provide many helpful giving events as well as BBQ' and other fundraisers. We provide School Supplies, Book Bags, Thanksgiving boxes, and general donations to those in need. Our food and clothing drives go to Chat Hills Brickworks because they have screening procedures to find those who are truly in need. About our Pastor:
