June 7,2026 // Baptism Sunday

We celebrated two baptisms last Sunday and are so thankful for the Lord’s work in these lives! He brings us from death to life by His saving work.

“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life” - Romans 6:3-4

Have you ever been confused by the Old Testament? Would you like to learn how to study, understand and teach the Old Testament historical books? Do you want tools for digging deeper into God’s Word so that you might grow and help others to know God’s Word better as well?

If so, we invite you to join our Simeon Trust Bible studies. The men will meet on Friday mornings and the ladies will meet on Wednesdays with an AM or PM option.

Sunday, May 3, 2026 || Child Dedications

Last Sunday, Christ Church celebrated several families as they dedicated their new babies to the Lord. We are grateful to stand with them in prayer and, as a church family, commit to encouraging and supporting these children in the Lord. Praise God, from whom all blessings flow!

Join us this Friday for a special service remembering our Savior’s sacrifice. We will meet at Shamrock Park at the new pavilion! We hope to see you there!

Youth at Christ Church, join us as we partner with the Real Life Center at Dogwood Church! The Real Life Center serves the community by collecting and packing canned goods for those in need. At this service day, we’ll be helping with the packing process. The group size is limited to 15 students, and you can find the sign-up at the link in our bio!

Sunday Gathering Update

Due to weather-related school closures, we will not be meeting at Sandy Creek High School tomorrow.

The Lord has provided another place for us to gather, and we will still meet for worship at 10:30am at ROAM at Trilith.

Location: ROAM at Trilith

210 Trilith Pkwy, Fayetteville, GA 30214
Turn onto Trilith Parkway from Veterans Parkway at the roundabout. Our welcome team will be outside and available to help direct you.

A few important notes for Sunday:

• The service will be shorter than usual, but we expect it to be a really special time together.

• Christ Kids: Nursery only for crawlers to 18 months. Activity bags will be available for toddlers and preschoolers to bring into the service.

• Communion will not be served this Sunday.

• Ben Reed, elder candidate, will be preaching.

Thank you for your flexibility and grace. Even when plans change, the joy of gathering as Christ’s people remains the same. We look forward to worshiping with you tomorrow.

Looking back with gratitude and moving forward with hope at our 2026 Annual Meeting. We rejoiced in the Lord’s faithfulness over the past four years through testimonies, a shared meal, and a sweet time of fellowship together!

Dear church family,

We wanted to share an important update regarding this coming Sunday.

Earlier today, we received a call from the leadership at Sandy Creek High School informing us that the Superintendent of Fayette County Public Schools has officially closed all educational facilities from Saturday through Monday. As a result, Sandy Creek High School will not be available for use this weekend.

After discussing this together, the elders believe the wisest decision is to cancel all gatherings this coming Sunday.

While we are disappointed not to gather in person, we encourage you to set aside time on Sunday to read Scripture, pray, sing, and worship as a household or on your own. If you’re able, consider reaching out to others in the church, especially those in your cohorts who may be isolated, to encourage one another in the Lord.

We will look forward to gathering together again soon, Lord willing.

Carols, Candles and Cocoa 2026. Thankful to gather at Shamrock Park as a church family and worship Emmanuel together!

Join us THIS Sunday, December 21, for Christ Church’s annual Carols, Candles, and Cocoa Advent service.

We are looking forward to worshiping in song together at Shamrock Park, sipping hot cocoa, and hearing a short Advent message from Pastor Zach.
