When God calls you to step out of your comfort zone and use your talent to glorify Him, it’s a big step of faith! This team is a blend of talented individuals from FBBC and FBCMC and from all walks of life. We’re incredibly proud and thankful that they lead worship on Sunday mornings and that they are leading Worship Night this Sunday at 6 PM. God laid a burden on their hearts and they followed His calling. Please come and join us as we worship Jesus as a community and a family of believers! 🙌🏻

The humidity almost wiped us out on Worth It Wednesday but we made it! Remember Hebrews 12:1? We jumped back into running the race to Jesus, our finish line. When we have Jesus in our heart, He promises us eternal life. If we do great things but haven’t asked Jesus to forgive us and be in our heart, we can run the race of life but miss eternal life. There was kids running, following directions, and being so close (through the window!) but missing out on heaven. Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life! 🙌🏻 These kids rocked our Bible verse and worked as a team to learn the verse and place the phrases in order together.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,”

We’re hands-on on Worth It Wednesday nights! These guys looked deeper into David and Goliath and where David’s strength truly came from— God! God used a young, stinky, smelled-like-sheep kid who everyone doubted to demonstrate God’s power through him. He didn’t face his giant from afar. He didn’t hide behind armor or an army. He looked his giant in the face and said “Not me, but God.” We faced our giants from a distance, and then head on. There’s nothing too big for God! 🙌🏻

Worth It Wednesday this week found our kids outside for our lesson as they were challenged to work against each other and then together. We’re throwing off everything that hinders us and the sin that so easily entangles and we’re fixing our eyes on Jesus! 🙌🏻

Hebrews 12:1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
