What a blessing it was to celebrate our 11th annual Healthcare Weekend, an event dedicated to sharing vital health information and resources to uplift our community’s well-being.
On yesterday, we had our Healthcare Symposium under the inspiring theme “Wellness from the Inside Out.” We kicked off Saturday morning with a dynamic symposium starting at 9 AM. Attendees enjoyed a nourishing breakfast catered by Wing Paradise while engaging with insightful presentations on heart health, physical activity, and dental hygiene. We thank each of our presenters for pouring into us in such a meaningful way. We were able to come together as a church family and community to learn more about caring for the bodies God has blessed us with. Today, we continued the spirit of wellness during our Sunday morning worship service, with our guest speaker Rev. Kendall Thurman reminding us that true wellness begins with God working from the inside out. A delicious and healthy meal was catered by Wing Paradise after worship service.
A special thank you to our presenters, our guest speaker Rev. Kendall Thurman, Pastor of Beauty Spot Community Church and the members of Beauty Spot Community Church in Rowland, NC, Pastor Southerland , committee members, church family, and everyone who supported this event.

Today was a beautiful and blessed day at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church as we held our Baby and Child Dedication. We were honored to dedicate 6 precious babies and children back to the Lord. Dr. Southerland reminded us of the special commitment parents, families, and the church make to help raise children in the love and teachings of God’s Word.
We are thankful for each family who participated today, and we pray God’s continued blessings over these children as they grow in faith, love, and purpose!

Today was a beautiful day at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church as we celebrated the 13th Pastoral Anniversary of our pastor, Dr. Thomas Southerland. A special thank you to Rev. Paul Matthews and the First Baptist Church Family of Lumberton, NC for joining us and helping make this celebration so special.
We also thank everyone who came out, served, supported, and shared in this wonderful occasion. May God continue to bless Dr. Southerland, his family, and the Mt. Tabor church family!!!

Today, we celebrate a truly special milestone at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church! We are so incredibly grateful for 13 years of faithful and inspiring leadership from our beloved Pastor, Dr. Thomas Southerland.
Pastor Southerland, thank you for your unwavering dedication, your powerful preaching, your compassionate heart, and your commitment to guiding our church family.
