Crosses For Sammie I started making these crosses in memory of my dad, who passed away in August '18.

Someone at my church saw what I had made, and said that would be great for the Acolytes, to make their own and learn about 'Holy Week' at the same time.

Crosses that I have made as well as crosses that the Acolytes @ St. Luke's Church East Greenwich have made.
I made my first couple of crosses, as a way that I could keep the memories of my dad in my heart. Then some of the clergy at St. Luke's Church saw what I had done and said that they would like one as well. Then it was suggested that it would be a great project to be done by the Acolytes, while teaching them more about Holy Week leading up to Easter Sunday.
With today being, Easter Sunday, it looked really great to see the memory of my dad on the Acolytes during the service.
