81 BACKPACKS. MORE THAN 2,000 SCHOOL SUPPLIES. ONE GENEROUS COMMUNITY.

Our Social Action Ministry has wrapped up another incredible School Supply & Backpack Drive!

Thanks to the generosity of our parish community, the team collected, sorted, and distributed 81 backpacks along with more than 2,000 school supplies, including pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, markers, folders, and so much more.

Each backpack and every donated item will help a student begin the school year prepared and ready to learn.

Thank you to everyone who donated and to our Social Action Ministry volunteers who helped collect, sort, and distribute it all!

This is what it looks like when a parish community comes together to serve.

We remember the storm. We remember Peter sinking. We remember the fear, the doubt, the wind and the waves.

But do we remember the hand?

Before the correction, before Peter could explain himself, Jesus reached out and caught him.

That simple moment reveals something about the heart of God. He does not stand at a distance pointing at us when we are struggling. He reaches for us. He lifts us up. He rescues.

And then comes the challenge for us.
Who is struggling, overwhelmed, or sinking while we remain safely in the boat?
Who around us needs a hand right now?

Who is struggling, overwhelmed or sinking while we remain safely in the boat?

Christ reaches out to us, and He calls us to do the same for one another.

Remember the hand. Become the hand.
