"Memorial Day invites us into a sacred pause. It is more than a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer. It is a day set apart to remember, intentionally and reverently, those who gave their lives in service to others. It is also a day to acknowledge the quiet grief carried by families, friends and communities who continue living in the absence of someone they love."

We invite you to join us for worship this Sunday, May 17th, 2026, at 10:30am here on site at CVPC, with our special guest preacher, The Rev. Ann Lewis!

For this week's worship service we will be going "old school", using just printed bulletins and hymnals, with no screens and no live-stream, because all of our trained tech volunteers just happen to be out of town this Sunday. So come have a throw-back worship experience with us, and hear the Word of God from a friend of the church and wonderful preacher!
