So grateful for last night ❤️
What an incredible evening of worship followed by a fun (and very generous!) dessert auction. Because of our amazing church family, we raised nearly $7,000 to help send our teens to camp!
Thank you for showing up, worshiping together, giving generously, and investing in the next generation. We are truly blessed by this community!

Last Sunday was Mental Health Sunday here at BBC, and the message “How God Engages the Hurting” was so good. Real, honest, and full of hope. If you’ve been carrying more than you let on, just know this: God sees you, He’s not distant from your pain, and you’re not alone in it.

Spiritual parenting isn’t about control. It’s about love, truth, and Christlike example.

From 1 Corinthians 4:14–21, we were reminded that a true spiritual parent is:
Motivated by love
Grounded in the gospel
Worthy of imitation
Committed to involving others
Willing to lovingly confront and correct

Paul shows us that spiritual leadership flows from deep affection, faithful living, and a desire to see others grow into maturity in Christ. This kind of ministry is reproducible, relational, and rooted in love.

This past weekend, the teens of Bible Baptist Church had the opportunity to serve Lake Hills Baptist Church in Bellevue (pastored by Evan Rose) 🙌

We spent time mowing grass, cleaning the auditorium, pressure washing, and deep cleaning all with the goal of being a help and a blessing. On Sunday, our teens jumped right into ministry: leading singing, running A/V, helping with kids’ classes and nursery, and Jeremiah had the privilege to preach.

It was a great reminder that our teens aren’t just here to have fun. They’re using their gifts, serving others, and growing spiritually. We were able to encourage a church that shares the same mission we do in Everett: helping people find and follow Jesus.

Take a moment this week to encourage one of our teens that you’re seeing real evidence of God’s grace at work in their lives. 🙏

This last Sunday we walked through John 15 and talked about a hard but hope-filled truth: God doesn’t prune us because we’re failing. He prunes us because we’re fruitful. 🍇✂️
Pruning hurts. It brings questions. But it always has a purpose, more fruit that brings Him glory.
