St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church Morning Prayer ~ Sundays ~ 10:30AM We strive to be the body of Christ, the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. Since winter 2011 we have hosted St.

This beloved church is carefully open and celebrated 107 years of ministry and service in Eureka, Montana this past October, 2021. Michael & All Angels Wood Bank Jubilee Ministry by providing supplemental firewood to low income veterans, elderly, disabled and families. All Angels Free Soup Cafe on Wednesdays, December through April, since 2015 provided free lunches to the community. Because of Covid19 we are not meeting in our small gathering area and will resume when we can be safer together. The Prayer Shawl Ministry, The Happy Hookers, began in 2002 and has made thousands of prayer shawls for people who are grieving, recovering from illness or who just need to be wrapped in blessing and prayer. We are a small but vibrant congregation who love each other and celebrate ways to make a difference in the community and the world. We are the Episcopal Church, follow the Book of Common Prayer, celebrate Holy Eucharist in the beauty of holiness, with meaningful liturgy and wonderful music. We welcome You. Come and See.

Hello, friends.

Just for this coming weekend, St Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church will be changing its worship service from our typical 10:30 am Sunday time on 20 September to 7:30 pm Saturday 19 September. Worship will be led by the Reverend Gabe LePage, who will have been rock climbing off Hwy 37 with the Koocanusa Krank earlier in the day.

All are welcomed at St Michael, the little white church with the red door at the top of the hill.

Hello, friends. This coming Sunday, 23 August 2026, worship will be led by the Reverend Gabe LePage, who will be coming to us from his regular gig as the Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Whitefish/Columbia Falls. Worship with communion will start at 2:30 PM, and this week Gabe will be leading a "dinner church liturgy", which means that instead of our 4th Sunday potluck following the worship service, we will be meeting in the cooler basement and our potluck will be integral to our liturgy. This is definitely a win-win situation since we'll be able to eat while we worship in a much cooler part of the church. The lessons for this Sunday are:

Exodus 1:8-2:10 (the story about Moses and the flaming bush on Mount Horeb)
Psalm 124
Romans 12:1-8 (from Paul's letter to the church in Rome telling them the best ways to
behave towards one another)
Matthew 16:21-28 (Jesus says to Peter, "get behind me, Satan!)

Rich topics from which Gabe will offer his unique perspective.

Hello, friends. This coming Sunday, 26 July 2026, is the 4th Sunday in July. We will be having our traditional monthly potluck following our worship service. This is also the week that the Reverend Gabe LePage travels northward from his regular gig at All Saints Episcopal Church in Whitefish/Columbia Falls to lead our worship service which will include communion. The worship service will start at 2:30 PM and the potluck will follow.

Remember that we are all loved by God. That love bathes us whether we recognize it or not. We are loved no matter what our actions are.

Tomorrow is 19 July 2026 and in the Episcopal Church Calendar it is the 8th Sunday after Pentecost. We will be worshiping via Morning Prayer Rite 2 from the Book of Common Prayer. The lessons that will be read in tomorrow's service which begins at 10:30 AM are:

This coming Sunday, 12 July 2026, is the 8th Sunday following Pentecost and the 2nd Sunday in July.

Our worship service will start at 10:30 AM. We will be following Morning Prayer Rite 2, found in the Book of Common Prayer on page 75. The service will be led by JoAnn Bristol. The lessons for this Sunday are:

Psalm 119:105–112
Romans 8:1-11
Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23

All are welcome at Saint Michael. If you've never had the opportunity to come into our church, please do. It's a pretty little white church with a belltower and a red door at the top of the hill. When entering our church you will find a warm welcoming sacred space perfect for introspection, meditation, prayer, or communion.

A reminder of our current schedule of worship at St Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church in Eureka, Montana.

You know St Michael. It's the pretty white church with the bright red door and the bell tower at 211 First Avenue West & Third Street.

We do not have a resident priest, and so we have Morning Prayer (usually Rite 2) performed by lay parishioners almost every Sunday (usually the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays) at 10:30 AM.

If there is a 5th Sunday in the month, we still do morning prayer, but in lieu of a sermon we meet downstairs, and over breakfast discuss what speaks to us from the readings for that day.

That leaves the 4th Sunday, which is also POTLUCK Sunday. It is also the Sunday that the Reverend Gabe LaPage comes to us from his full-time gig as the Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Whitefish/Columbia Falls to lead worship and share communion. The potluck follows this service which starts at 2:30 PM.

Just for completeness sake, in the foreseeable future the only time this scheme will vary is in September 2026, because the 4th Sunday of September is the weekend of the Diocesan Convention. For some reason Gabe thinks that takes precedence over eating with us. For the month of September 2026 we know that Gabe, communion, and potluck will occur on the 3rd Sunday of the month beginning at 2:30 PM. The 4th Sunday will be parishioner-led morning prayer at 10:30 AM.
