Our last night of VBS (Thursday) was so much fun! We had pancake dinner provided by Rachel Tollefson, and ice cream cones from Pastor Barb. We learned about Jesus, what faith has for promises and finished learning about how Philip helped the Ethiopian.

Craft time was a bit crazy with making galaxy bottles to help us remember Jesus shines on us. We destroyed a moon piñata and said goodbye to VBS 2025.

Over the last 12 years many things have changed with NBC Sunday School. It has been my pleasure to have been a part of a lot of these changes. Next year will be filled with more changes but as we learned this week, Jesus will shine his light on NBC.

Another great night at VBS. We enjoyed sandwich bar provided by Joe and Morgan Vehrenkamp. Then we learned about how important the donkey is to Jesus and about a family that was called by God to adopt 3 boys from Ukraine. Lastly, we made lanterns to shine Jesus' light, a constellation night light showing how stellar we are and foil covered crosses.

Tuesday the kids learned about how to open their hearts to caring for others with the story of Zacchaeus. We enjoyed tacos and some fun crafts and games.

We kicked off our Galaxy VBS tonight! We had BBQs, learned about Jesus' power in light, made egg alien/astronaut slinkies and finished with fun games in the church yard.

Please join us tomorrow if you are able to learn more about how Jesus shines through the darkness and of course enjoy Tuesday with Taco Tuesday provided by Phil and Yvonne Borreson.

Tomorrow is our last day of Sunday School for the year. We will be having Sunday School at Brick Church to allow for an easier transition from church. Sunday School starts at 9:15 following the service. See you there!

The children have been working hard on their songs and will be singing in church both Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. Please plan to join us for worship. Sunday school will follow on Palm Sunday but no Sunday School on Easter Sunday.

We are excited 🥳 to share that the kids will be singing at church this Sunday 2/9. We encourage you and your kiddos to attend church however if they are not able to make it, if the could be dropped of in time to sing at 9 AM (for the closing), we would much appreciate it.

Following the service, we will have regular scheduled Sunday School from 9:15 to 10 AM. We encourage parents to stay in the sanctuary for the annual meeting while they wait for their child.

And don't forget to pick up your pizzas in the basement!

Tomorrow 1/19, Sunday School will be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. We strongly encourage families to take this opportunity to attend church at NBC at 8:15 or at Living Hope at 10:15. We will see you all 1/26.
