IT's Resurrection Sunday - the greatest day ever - the day Jesus came out of the tomb proclaiming for the entire world that there is LIFE Eternal for all who believe and receive Him as LORD. Glory to His Holy Name!!!!
Tomorrow at 7AM Steep Bottom Church will host a SUNRISE Service to celebrate that great getting up morning when they found an empty tomb. I want to invite you to join with us to worship and praise our glorious King. Then at 11 AM I will share a resurrection message from the Gospels. Don't miss out on what God has in store for you. He is alive and He lives forever. Jesus said: "I AM THE LIVING ONE; I WAS DEAD AND BEHOLD I AM ALIVE FOR EVER AND EVER." Rev. 1:18 Hope to see you tomorrow.

GOOD FRIDAY!!! Yes, today is a day we refer to as Good Friday but why is it called Good Friday when it relates to a day of great sorrow? This is the day Jesus Christ, the Son of God with blood dripping from His body hung upon a wooden cross pouring out His life blood. He had done no wrong but because of the hatred and jealousy of the Jewish leaders they wanted to get rid of Him and through their lies and deceit they succeeded in persuading the Romans to crucify Him. So, why is it called Good Friday?
It is good because of what it accomplished. It is good because Jesus completed the work the Father had assigned to Him. It is good because His sacrifice paid the penalty for all sin. It is good because He brought many sons to glory. It is good because all who believe in Him have an inheritance in heaven. These are but a few of the whys.
The question that each of us must answer today is, what have I done or what am I doing to show my gratitude and appreciation for what He has done? It is time for those who profess to be His to live so it is obvious we belong to Him and honor His Name. He is worthy of all praise, honor and glory so let's take time today to worship and praise Him!!! Blessed be Your Holy Righteous Name!!!
