Beyond Our Walls.

What could God do through First Alliance Church if we intentionally invested in the two-mile radius around our church over the next two years?

At our annual meeting, we were challenged to think beyond our walls and consider how we can reach our neighbors, serve our community, and share the love of Jesus in new and creative ways.

Not just once, but with intentionality and consistency over time.

Who might we reach? How might God lead us? What could happen if we committed to showing up for the community right outside our doors?

We’re looking forward to discovering what God has in store as we seek to be the church beyond our walls.

Look at What the LORD Has Done!

God has been faithful to FAC through every season, and we’re taking time this Sunday to celebrate all He has done! 🙌

More than 50 years ago, God led a generation to establish a new vision and future for First Alliance Church. Today, we have the opportunity to build on that foundation as we look ahead to all He has in store.

Join us tomorrow as we celebrate a year of ministry, reflect on God’s faithfulness, and look toward the next season of FAC.

A foothold can become a stronghold, and a stronghold can become a chokehold. What we leave unchecked can begin to take control of our lives. Don’t ignore the areas where the enemy is looking for an opening. Bring them to God and allow Him to bring freedom and healing.

What does it look like to trust God when you’re still waiting for an answer?

Maybe you’ve prayed for healing, for a relationship to be restored, or for someone you love to come back to Jesus. You’re still waiting, and surrender feels painful.

In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego show us that faith isn’t dependent on getting the outcome we hope for. We can ask God boldly for what we need while still trusting Him with what happens next.

You can bring your requests to God and surrender the outcome in the very same prayer. Even in the waiting, He is worthy of our trust.

What if obedience means trusting God even when we don’t know how the story will end?

In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood firm in their faith, even when obedience could cost them everything. They didn’t know how things would turn out, but they knew who they belonged to.

We can do the same. Even when the outcome is uncertain, the cost is great, or fear tells us to hold back, we can take the next faithful step because God is trustworthy.

What a meaningful week celebrating missions at FAC!

We kicked off the week with Sunday worship as Jim Eaton brought a message centered on what it means to be On Mission Together. Jim and LuAnne Eaton, missionaries from Spain, reminded us that missions isn’t just about going overseas. As followers of Jesus, we all have a part to play in sharing His hope with the world, wherever He has placed us.

From serving alongside local churches and discipling believers to equipping leaders and building relationships in Spain, Jim and LuAnne shared how God works through ordinary people who are willing to say yes to Him. Their message challenged us to consider what God has already placed in our hands and how we can use our gifts, relationships, resources, and prayers to make a difference for His Kingdom.

Throughout the week, they connected with different ministries across our church, including young adults and youth. During our Encounter: Prayer & Worship Night, we also had the opportunity to pray over them and their ministry. The week came to a close Saturday evening with our Missions Dinner, bringing our church family together to celebrate what God is doing around the world and our part in it.

One body. One Spirit. One mission. One hope. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner together in the work God is doing in Spain and beyond. Because the mission belongs to all of us, and it starts with a simple question: Jesus, what is my part?
