October is national Clergy Appreciation Month, a time set aside to recognize the contributions and service of pastors, ministers, and all other clergy members that have impacted your life. So let us do as the Apostle Paul has urged us and that is to acknowledge those “who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you,” holding these spiritual leaders “in the highest regard in love because of their work”.

Prayer For The Day:
Dear Lord Jesus, this,morning as I contemplate a new day, I ask you to help me. I want to be aware of your spirit leading me in the decisions I take, the conversations I have, and the work I do. It is my desire to be more like you, Jesus, as I relate to the people I meet today- friends or strangers. In your powerful prolific name I pray, in Jesus name. Amen

Lord God, we lift up all mothers to You. Grant them the strength to face the daily challenges with courage and the wisdom to guide their children towards a life of faith and service. Encourage them when they are weary and inspire them when they feel overwhelmed. Bless them with Your peace and love, now and forever.
