This past weekend, the Diocese of Erie Vocation Office sponsored two workshops for parishioners, one at St. Bernard Church in Falls Creek and the other at St. Mark Catholic Center in Erie. The workshops, facilitated by Bob McMorrow from Vocation Ministry, trained parish-based vocation teams who will be working to build a culture of vocations in the Diocese of Erie.

St. Mark Seminary welcomed 15 young men this past weekend for their annual Palm Sunday “Come and See” discernment weekend. The weekend began with Bishop Persico welcoming the discerners. Please pray for these men as they discern God’s call for their lives.

Congratulations to Michael Geary, Erie seminarian studying at St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, who was installed recently to the ministry of acolyte by Bishop Michael Olson from the Diocese of Fort Worth Texas.

A new vineyard is being cultivated in the Diocese of Erie.

We are grateful to begin a new partnership with the Diocese of Erie as we present a priest vocation workshop at their diocesan convocation.

On Sunday, November 23, seminarians, along with seminary rector, Fr. Jabo, traveled to St. Hippolyte Church in Frenchtown where they attended Mass and spoke to religious education classes about discerning their vocations.
